Description

Trade name:  Harlequin™
Botanical name: Aloe Hybrid 'LEO6580'
Description: One of the most striking of the ‘small compact’ Aloe-Aloe® cultivars made available to gardeners and plant lovers to date. Harlequin, the comical character is known for showing off its patches of unusual and contrasting colours. Aloe hybrid ‘LEO 6580’ Harlequin™ does the same and produces spectacular flowers of a rather unusual colour combination – red buds and orange-yellow open flowers. The flower-to-plant ratio is excellent, meaning that you get a lot of flowers for the size of the plant. Harlequin™ is able to be grown as a container specimen or in-ground as long as the soil is very free draining. Harlequin™ requires good sunlight for optimum flowering and flower colour.
